Rika, I really like the combinations of colours, textures, smears, and objects in this work. Meanwhile, I'm not sure about the title. Care to explain anything?
thank you. the work began as a meditation or prayer for my godfather through my godmother. i started with the first piece i did in Malta with her embroidery in a temple site and continued with the other pieces created at that time. my godmother passed on six years ago and my godfather is ninety-two. looking at it again now.... there are other interesting connections i see which are less personal but still in keeping with the original meditation or prayer.
